Student Life: Student Support

Our Lady's School faculty provide in classroom support for all students' needs. They quite often vary instructional methods or provide accommodations so that each student has the chance to succeed.

Students who require more individualized support become part of the Student Success Team (SST) process. The SST includes the parents, classroom teacher, school counselor, school nurse and principal as appropriate. Together they plan for educational strategies and accommodations for student success. Outside educational assessment may be needed to pinpoint specific difficulties.

Students may be recommended to the program by their teacher or a parent may request a meeting. Collaboration with the teacher, parent and principal will determine the most appropriate course of action including frequent follow up. Our goal is for every student to work to his/her ability and achieve success.
