Events: School Fundraisers

Our Lady's School has several fundraisers each year that help the school meet its financial needs. Our families participate in these fundraisers in order to help us continue to provide a quality Catholic education to the children of our school. They also allow members of our extended community with an opportunity to support our school. We invite you to help our students by supporting these fundraisers.

Genevieve Gift Wrap Fundraiser

The PTG is sponsoring a fundraiser with the sale of some wonderful gift items in the Genevieve’s catalog. Some of the items include: Scented Candles, Crabtree & Evelyn, Swarovski Crystals, Designer Gift Wrap and much more.

The dates for the fundraiser are October 11 - October 25. Items can be purchased online at:

Our Lady of Guadalupe Festival

The Our Lady of Guadalupe (OLG) Festival will be held on October 2 and 3 of this year. The OLG Festival is celebrated in the schoolyard at the South Campus site, which is next to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church at 1770 Kearney Ave. There are several booths with delicious Mexican and American foods, live music and games for the children.

  • There is also a raffle with cash prizes! The families of the school are asked to sell at least 20 tickets for this raffle. After selling 100 tickets, each additional ticket sold for $1.00 will be deducted from that families tuition. Therefore if a family sells 300 tickets, they would have $200 deducted from their tuition. Therefore, you can help the school and our families by buying OLG raffle tickets from our families.

Big Deal Dinner Dance

Each year the PTG sponsors a Big Deal Dinner Dance in February, which is designed to raise $20,000 for the school. Each Family is required to purchase a “Big Deal” ticket at the cost of $100. There are only 300 tickets sold. However, we need the support of the community to make sure we sell all 300 tickets. The $100 ticket can be split among family or friends (Example: 5 people put in $20 to buy a ticket). Support the school by purchasing a “Big Deal” ticket! Walk-A-Thon Fundraiser

During the spring our students participate in a walk-a-thon at a local park. The walk-a-thon is not only an opportunity to raise money for the school, but it is also an opportunity to raise awareness of physical fitness and good health practices. If you would like to support this event, please call the school or speak with one of our families. We will announce the date of this fundraiser after Christmas vacation.
